Epic Golf Club Poker Set

Epic Golf Club has been an extraordinary partner over the past 18 months. When we flew to their Arizona headquarters to explore 2026 opportunities, they presented us with a rare challenge. They had already gifted every iliac product in 2025.

So the question became: what do you give when you’ve already given everything? Their season opening event was scheduled at Southern Highlands, just off the Las Vegas Strip. During conversation, someone casually suggested that iliac should build a custom poker set. It was meant as a joke.

We didn’t take it that way. Because the idea wasn’t funny. It was compelling. If we were going to do it, it wouldn’t be a novelty. It would be engineered. Refined. Intentional.

The first obstacle: structure. How do you secure 200 poker chips and two decks of cards inside a leather case without wasted space, without movement, without compromise.

We searched nationally and ultimately partnered with the market leader in precision plastic molding to develop a completely custom interior mold in Eagan, Minnesota. The foundation had to be exact before the leather could ever touch it.

Next: the chips and cards. To honor the event’s location, we partnered with the Strip’s premier casino supplier. Together, we produced 19,000 custom 13g clay chips and 190 casino grade, fully logoed card decks, built to professional standards, not novelty ones.

Then came the architecture of the case itself. We engineered the exterior around the interior mold, designing it to house two decks and 200 chips with zero inefficiency. Our thesis was simple: most poker sets are bulky, poorly proportioned, and impractical to travel with. This one would be compact, balanced, and unmistakably refined.

At our new Texas factory, our production manager, whose background includes winemaking and a deep appreciation for sleek design, pushed for a single piece front panel to create a cleaner silhouette. We reinforced the base with vegetable tanned leather, the same material we trust as the backbone of our belt construction.

Our cutting and prep team integrated invisible magnets for seamless closure. No hardware interrupting the lines. No noise. Just precision.

The final touch: a 15 inch detachable strap with D rings and carabiners, allowing the piece to function as a standalone luxury accessory.
